Delivery
Delivery is available within the Ottawa and Outaouais regions.
Delivering charges are:
- $10 + 10% of each item’s price for the size 10cm, 1g, 2g, 3g, 5g and 7g
- $45 + 15% of each item’s price for the size 10g, 12g, and 15g
- $55 + 20% of each item’s price for the size 20g
- Delivery charges for a larger radius beyond the greater Ottawa region are quoted separately and according to location
- Shipping is not available beyond 100km radius of Ottawa and Outaouais
The customer or another approved contact (who is at least 18 years of age), must be on site at the time of delivery. If no one is present to meet us within 15 minutes of the scheduled delivery window, additional charges will apply. Delivering directions and on-site contact name and telephone number must be provided.

Tax included
Orders
Orders amended or cancelled within 24hrs of delivery may be subject to 20% restocking fees.
Orders booked are subject to being rendered void in whole or part in the event of crop losses or lack of stock due to other causes over which we have no control.
Grading
All plants are graded in accordance with the standards established by the Canadian Association of Nurseryman.
Warranty
All plants are guaranteed to be in good condition upon delivery. Our responsibility ceases at this point. We warrant our stock to be true to name and will replace with other stock, or return amount paid, if any should prove to be untrue. Earthworms and Daffodils will not be held responsible for any amount greater than that originally received for the plant(s).
Claims
Check your plants on the delivery. No claims for plant rejections or deficiencies will be considered unless made within 2 (two) days of delivery of your plants. Plants must be returned in the same condition as sold and no claims will be considered if plants are not properly returned in the same condition.
Refunds
Once your return is picked up and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned plant(s). We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10 business days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items are not eligible for a refund.
Gifts
If the order was marked as a gift when purchased and delivered to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned plant(s) is/are received, a gift certificate will be e-mailed to you.
If the order wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order delivered to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will be notified about your return.
Picking up returns
To return your plant(s), you should contact us at: info@earthwormsanddaffodils.ca
You will be responsible for paying the pick up costs in returning your order. Delivering and pick up costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the pick up cost will be deducted from your refund. The pick-up cost is the same amount as the delivery cost.
